Business Tax Return

We are business tax experts, and can accurately file your business tax return. There are different types of business tax filings, and depending on the type of business you have, you will need to file different forms. Here is a breakdown of the four most common types of businesses and the corresponding tax returns.

  • Sole Proprietorships & Single Member LLCs:

If you are self-employed, you will need to file a Schedule C with your 1040 tax return. This form is used to report your business income and expenses. The Schedule C is the profit & Loss statement that is attached to your 1040. If you are a single-member LLC, for tax purposes you are considered self-employed.

  • Corporations:

Corporations, whether a C Corp or an S Corp must file a corporate tax return, which is different from a personal tax return. The corporate tax return is used to report the corporation's income, deductions, and credits

  • Partnership LLCs:

LLCs must file an annual return with the IRS. The members or partners of the LLC pay taxes on their share of the profits through their tax returns.

  • Nonprofits:

Nonprofits are exempt from paying federal income taxes, but they must still file an annual return with the IRS. The return is used to report the nonprofit's income and expenses.

As you can see, there are different types of business tax filings, and each one has its own specific requirements. We can review your business tax filings to determine which forms you need to file for your business and if you are ready to get started with your business filings, fill out the form today!
